Hi, I’m Mark, a wedding photographer based in Truckee–Tahoe, photographing weddings throughout Lake Tahoe and beyond. I’m a lover of the Sierra Nevadas and everything they have to offer. Whether I’m mountain biking some of the best trails in Tahoe with my crew or chasing a powder day at the resort, I’m drawn to movement, energy, and real moments.
Before weddings, I spent years as an action sports photographer, which shaped the way I see the world through a camera. That background influences my documentary approach and editorial eye today. I focus on honest emotion, natural movement, and days that feel true to the people living them.
I show up calm, invested, and easy to be around, so you can relax, be present, and enjoy your wedding day.

Planning a wedding comes with a lot of moving pieces, and my job is to make the photography part feel easy.
From the beginning, I’m here to support you, not just show up with a camera. I work closely with you and your planner to build a timeline that allows space for real moments, time with your guests, and all the must-have photos that matter most to you. The goal is always balance. Beautiful images without pulling you away from your own wedding.
Leading up to the day, I help make sure the details that affect your photos are thoughtfully planned, from lighting and locations to pacing and flow. On the wedding day itself, I’m calm, adaptable, and fully on your team, handling what needs to be handled so you can stay present and enjoy it all.
